Introduction

Tadika Sri Kenanga has been operating since May 1988, and has built a reputation for quality childcare in the area. With 3 centres being in Bayu Perdana & Bandar Botanic /Bukit Tinggi and Bukit Jalil.

Our Love and Passion for working with children is the very reason for our school’s existence.  We provide a rich and stimulating learning environment made up of children of various nationalities and races. 

Tadika Sri Kenanga attempts to create and provide a stimulating environment so that it will meet the needs of each individual child in order for them to grow to the fullest capacity in which they are capable of achieving. The program will be flexible to meet the needs, the appropriate level, and capabilities of each child. The areas of development in which we work to nurture are intellectual, mental, physical, social and emotional.

At Tadika Sri Kenanga, we believe in an integrated approach to child education which is based on empirical educational theories and practices on child development and early childhood education. For instance, you may recognize some aspects of our curriculum to be Montessorian, thematic or even Reggio-Emilia derived. Our curriculum takes into account the unique factors and context of the diversity from different families, and cultures.

Our Programmes

At Tadika Sri Kenanga we recognize that young children are constantly on “the move”, growing and learning; absorbing everything they see and hear around them – their minds exploring and their bodies interacting with their feelings. We believe at Tadika Sri Kenanga that a young child’s cognitions are intimately related to his/her behaviour.  In other words, the way a child thinks, feels and acts/behaves are extremely related.

We strive to provide a safe and familiar environment for our children where the boundaries are consistent, safe and comfortable. Our school practices a positive verbal environment, in which adult words are aimed at being constructive, satisfying children’s needs and making them feel valued. As a result, our classrooms have a strong focus on warmth, respect, acceptance, and empathy.
