Event Description

The Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education has attracted the worldwide attention of educators, researchers, parents and just about anyone interested or involved in the early care and education of young children. Inspired by Reggio Emilia, the teaching pedagogy in the Odyssey promotes child empowerment, emergent and artistic explorations, and inquiry-based learning. Supporting and extending this principle of practice, environments in the Odyssey are organized as vibrant learning spaces where children can actively explore and experiment with materials, test out hypothesis, make discoveries and construct their own understanding.
