Christmas is just around the corner and Dataran Pahlwan Melaka Megamall (DPMM) has stepped up with Melaka’s LARGEST, most spectacular Christmas celebration in history. Running from 15th November – 31st December 2014, DPMM has been transformed into a dream-like wonderland with its eye-popping ‘Whimsical Christmas’ festive theme.
To officially introduce its new mall campaign, the DPMM team organised a truly unforgettable ‘Whimsical Christmas’ Launch Event on 25th November 2014 at the mall’s West Concourse – State Tourism Association Representatives, Melaka’s top businessmen, members of the media, popular bloggers and the kids from Hopehaven Centre attended the stunning soiree.
Beyond the splendid Christmas décor, a full schedule of fun-filled festive activities and performances await DPMM shoppers. From captivating aerial performances to traditional Christmas caroling and a ‘Meet & Greet’ with Santa, there is so much to see and do in DPMM. Shoppers will also enjoy the FREE gift wrapping service, popcorn and candy floss gift redemption.
And because this is the season of giving, DPMM is giving shoppers a chance to give back to society with the ‘Wish Upon A Star’ Charity Drive. In collaboration with the Hopehaven Centre for Children with Special Needs, DPMM has invited the special kids to write down their personal Christmas wish list. The wish lists are displayed at the Main Entrance where generous shoppers can help make a child’s wish come true by sponsoring a gift. On Christmas Day, DPMM will deliver the gift to the child as a special surprise. Started on 15th November 2014, the charity drive has already received an overwhelming response from the public with nearly all the wish lists taken up and sponsored by generous shoppers. The event will continue with more wishlists collected from the children.
