Introduction

Adopting the Forest School approach of education originated from Scandinavia, Little Urban Forest (LUF) is the first urban play-based, place-based forest school and sustainability learning preschool in Kuala Lumpur for children ages 2 – 6. Our school provides children with nature-based educational experience to nurture their identity formation with nature, community and themselves. We also promote education for sustainability and environmental awareness to children, parents and the community. At LUF, we strongly believe that when children play and connect with nature, it forms lasting impacts to their physical and emotional well-being, and above all else, a positive attitude.
