Penang Green Carnival 2015

Event Description

This year the carnival, happening on 13 to 14 June (Sat to Sun), is focusing on food and how our lifestyle choices can affect the food system and environment. With the theme Make Our Food Last, the carnival will be a fun and exciting event. It will feature a series of awareness programmes, games and competitions, exhibitions, talks and discussion forums, and many more. Also, watch out for our pre-carnival programmes and activities like the Penang Green Idol Audition and Low Carbon Diet Campaign.

OUR OBJECTIVES

TO CREATE AWARENESS
A family day with great and inspiring educational and awareness programs and activities – The Green Carnival will not only be an event for traders and experts, but also an inclusive public event for anyone who has a great interest in green knowledge and trends.

A lively and creative platform to promote green ideas, sustainable strategies and practices, products showcase, technologies and organisations.
